A beautiful Mdina Chalice.

The chalice was designed by Michael Harris, together with Ettore Boffo and Vincente Boffo and was made in five separate pieces.

The craggy knop was built up by trailing glass on to the lower stem, which had previously been attached to the foot, after which, the upper stem and the bowl were added.

Each knop is unique by virtue of the way it was made.

The chalice is signed to the base "Mdina Glass, 1976", and has a signiture which has not yet been identified.

The base diameter is 11.3cm.

The chalice is in excellent condition.
